Commissioned to produce an A2 poster for the premiere of ‘La Vie en Rose’, a film due to be released at the National Film Theatre, London. The design outcome was produced within a group collaboration and developed through the mechanics of 1440’s letterpress printing. The process involves relief printing of text using a press with a ‘type-high bed’ printing press and movable type. Careful consideration was given to every stage of development, including choice of typeface, layout design, and colour variations. Completed at LCC.
